Asian lychee tea

10 kaffir lime leaves (from Asian store) , 1/2 organic lime , 1 piece fresh ginger (about 1.5 cm) , 7 lychees , 1 tablespoon loose jasmine tea , 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey

Step 1
Wash the lime leaves and cut into strips. Wash the lime hot, then cut into four pieces. Peel the ginger and cut into thin strips. Anything with 750 ml of water in a saucepan. To a boil, then simmer covered for about 10 minutes on low heat.

Step 2
Meanwhile, peel the lychees and cut into quarters, taking care to remove the core. Squishing the pulp with a mortar and pestle easily give including juice into the pot and bring to the boil again. The tea into loyal, take the pan off the heat, cover and leave to brew for approximately 3 minutes.

Step 3
Pour the tea through a strainer into large cups and sweet as desired with sugar or honey.
