Oranges and melon ice tea


Since your guests will be amazed when frozen melon balls instead of boring ice cubes to keep the homemade ice tea and make it beautiful fruity.

Ingredients
500 ml of cold orange juice
2 bags of rooibos vanilla tea
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cantaloupe or honeydew melon (about 300 g)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
possibly mint for garnish

Step 1
Fill 125 ml of orange juice in an ice cube tray and freeze overnight is best.

Step 2
The tea bag with 375 ml of boiling water blanch and let stand for 10 minutes. Sweeten with the sugar and chill.

Step 3
Meanwhile, deseed the melon and cut the flesh with a melon baller from the shell. The melon balls with the lemon juice.

Step 4
The tea with the remaining orange juice mix, pour in the melon balls and orange ice. To taste with mint garnish.
